Your research paper takes the place of a final examination in this course. The paper should be on the topic you had approved by the instructor earlier in the course. Requirements are 6 – 8 pages, double-spaced, one-inch margins, and a bibliography listing your sources (at least 8 sources should be used – see initial assignment as to types of resources). Please be sure to edit your paper for spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as content before submitting. (NOTE: The papers will be processed by Turnitin to check for plagiarism. The paper should be your own work, not taken from other papers or made up of quotes from your sources. A Turnitin score of 10% or lower is required in order for the paper to be accepted. If your score is higher, you will receive an automatic 0 for the assignment, so please be sure to write in your own words.)
