Each student will complete a Country Evaluation, based on a real country. The evaluation must address each of the components listed in the grading rubric. There is no specific length requirement. However, it would be difficult to address all of the appropriate points in less than four pages (double spaced, 12 pt font). See the rubric below for grading details.
Your evaluation must include:
-An introduction to your country and its culture/background/history
-A description of the current overall health status of your country. This should be based on the decisions and work your team made throughout the course. This section should include:
-Nutrition status and risk factors
-Status of women’s/children’s health
-Status of communicable disease
-Status of noncommunicable diseases
-Status of economy on health factors
-Relevant prevention plans for these risk factors
-A conclusion that suggests three practical strategies to improve the health of your fictious or real country, and discuss, the financing of these strategies.
-Three scholarly references.
