1. You should develop a research question based on a gap in current research on your topic.
For example, perhaps there is a lot of research on teenagers, social media and smartphone addiction, but there might not have been much research on pre-teens or people in their 20’s. You could therefore find a gap in research and try to find out something new. Again, please check the lecture slides for more information on this.
2. Write a 1200 word essay with a title, introduction, main body, and conclusion.
3. You need to use MLA 7th citation style. Please check the guidelines on the website to find out what kinds of sources you should be using. You must use at least 10 different sources (e.g. books, peer-reviewed articles, government reports etc.).
4. Add a full bibliography at the end of your essay. This should be formatted in MLA 7th style…again, please check the website, handouts, and lecture slides to help you. Your bibliography is not included in your 1200 word limit.
