Overview:
Establishing appropriate learning goals and objectives is an important part of the curriculum planning process. Goals and objectives identify what you want your students to know or be able to do at the end of a lesson or activity. To create an effective curriculum, you must first purposefully develop learning goals and objectives. To ensure that goals and objectives are DAP consider what is age-appropriate, what is individually appropriate, and what is culturally and socially appropriate for the learners for whom you are planning the curriculum. Once you have created learning goals and objectives, you can now plan meaningful and relevant learning experiences to help children reach the goals!
Instructions:
First, download the weekly curriculum plan document:

Next, complete the Part 1 – Curriculum Learning Goals section of the document by writing three learning goals for the identified age group, ensuring that the goals are age, individually, culturally, and socially appropriate for the identified group of children.
Once the learning goals have been written, you will need to complete the Part 2 – Curriculum Weekly Plan by developing a learning experience for each of the following (eight learning experiences total):
Art
Sensory
Play and Exploration
Science and Math
Literacy
Social and Emotional
Outdoor Play
Physical
Complete each section (five sections for each learning experience) of Part 2 – Curriculum Weekly Plan, including:
Curriculum Learning Goal (from Part 1)
Name of Activity
Description of Activity
Activity Objective or State Early Learning Guideline
Possible DAP Accommodations
Submission Requirements:
Uses professional language with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation in the template with a title page (title: Resource Collection RC-1: Weekly Plan and your full name).
