Learning Goal: I’m working on a white papers writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.Write an essay (500-750 words) in which you demonstrate that you’ve read/watched/synthesized assigned material. Have you thought much about these topics previously? Are these issues relevant to most/all of us? Don’t limit yourselves to these questions – your response is your response! But you’ll need to move beyond “I agree” or “I disagree.” It’s the why-or-why-not that’s most important. Informed opinions welcome, but within an analytical framework. Sift through the evidence before you respond. The best essays will indicate that you’ve done just that. You may write in first-person, share your own experiences if you would like, but only if you choose to. These are informal essays, but quality of writing is important. Strength of essays will be based on: clarity of writing
