This week we are talking about empowerment. This week you will
be encouraging your classmates with the hope that they deserve.
This job is thankless, being in the helping services can be
thankless at times, and it is a great idea to learn the importance of
camaraderie within your classes so that in your workplaces, you find strength
to continue working without breaking to the point that you leave the work you
have been called to do.
Instructions
1. Read Matthew 6:1-4(new tab) and Colossians 3:23-24(new tab).
2. You will reflect on the Word of God and then respond to
the prompt.
3. Response to the following prompts directed at your
class as a whole 300 words
a. In the world of giving, we are often doing the thankless
work that is unappreciated or underappreciated. This week you will give hope to
your classmates. You will be “thanking” them for their future work, and/or the
current work that they have done. In this field, we have to love one another
and remember that God gave us the gift of empathy for a reason, but that does
not mean that we are to give of ourselves until there is nothing left. This
week, we are encouraging our classmates.
