Module 4 Paper Assignment
How successful an advocacy nonprofit is in influencing policy outcomes is dependent on the following factors:
– Proximity of the organization’s goals to American values
– Organization’s capacity to win public attention and support
– Ability to effect political fortunes of leaders
– Good leadership
– Ability to control the narrative
Choose 2 advocacy nonprofits: one you think has been successful at influencing public policy and one who think has struggled.  Analyze each non profit organization according to the list above. This should be a 2 page paper.
Be sure to include references.

Surveying the aftermath a decade later we can see that the political outcomes of those protests varied considerably.  In some countries a transition to democracy took place. In others, the protests were repressed and the authoritarian regime consolidated its power. In others still, civil war and foreign intervention ensued.
