CASE STUDY CRITIQUE ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
(Very Important)You will identify and write a critique case study related to a legal issue facing human resource management in public administration: Performance Management, Discrimination, and Employee Retention and Separation. This Case Study Critique assignment is designed to help you make application of course content to the area of human resource management in public administration. The case study will integrate relevant legal cases in which it supports your work and ensure a biblical integration to support position on whether the right or incorrect decision was made in the case.
INSTRUCTIONS
This Case Study Critique Assignment must be 6 – 8 double-spaced pages of content (not counting title page, references, etc.) and discuss the major facts of the case, and you should tell whether or you believe the right decision(s) was/were made and why. You should incorporate a minimum of one Read item into this assignment.
The format of case study should be as follows:
• Identify the important facts in the case study
• What decision(s) were made in the case study
• Do you believe the decisions were appropriate?
• Discuss any alternative solution(s) to the problem and support those solutions with additional research. Make sure your solutions are relevant to the case and able to be implemented.

For this discussion, decide which type your evaluation falls under. Take that specific model and answer the following about your project (Program Appraisal of Yosemite National Park) specifically: Describe your activity in more succinct form. To whom will the evaluations findings be reported? What is your timeline for releasing the findings? Please review all the resources linked to this page.
Next, create your own planning framework. Link on the main page through the Rainbow Framework or specifically at BetterEvaluation.

Create your own frame for your project. What evaluation questions will you ask? What activities are planned? What type of data collection, etc.? Who has ultimate responsibility and who is the audience? The first part of this discussion should help you with the second part. Both are required.
You might be working with existing data and that is fine. You may report the procedures that are currently being used if they are available. We will not have time to collect our own. Some of the answers you will have to extrapolate from what you are able to collect. This might mean looking at the structure of park administration as well.
