Hello, my major is Process Technology and my topic is Hydrogen, Hydrotreating, and Sulfer Plants. Below is a short description of what they are to help you understand a little more about this topic before accepting my paper.
Hydrogen, Hydrotreating:
•Crude
oils have all sorts of contaminants. As the petroleum fractions travel through
the refinery process units, these impurities have detrimental effects on the
equipment and the catalysts. These impurities may pollute the environment.
•Hydrotreating
does an effective job of removing many of the contaminants from many streams.
•Hydrogen
is the operative input to the hydrotreating process.
Sulfur Plants:
+Recovery of
the H2S can be done by a number of different chemical processes.
+The most
widely used is the DEA (diethanolamine).
+DEA and water
trickle down a column with trays or packing that will distribute the liquid.
The gas stream containing the H2S enters the
bottom
+The DEA
absorbs the H2S
+The rich H2S stream is fractionated to separate the H2S which is sent to the Sulfur Recovery Plant.
