Instructions
The assignment this week is an analysis a Draft EISs. Choose a recent EIS found on the EPA Database. Please upload both your analysis and the EIS file here in the Assignments section. If you are having trouble selecting an EIS, please contact me.
After reading the EIS prepare a 6 to 8 page analysis (double spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt) of the EIS based on the Environmental Impact Statement Rating System Criteria developed by EPA. You will need to justify your rating the environmental impacts of the action and the evaluation of the adequacy of the draft EIS with at least three references to support your conclusion.
This is your opportunity to demonstrate how much of an understanding you have gained about NEPA.
This assignment addresses LO-6: Analyze the Environmental Impact Statement.
*** Important message****
– I have had problems selecting EIS correctly, so I have failed my previous assigments. You can select any EIS that you find, but please send me the link before starting the work to review it quickly. Thank you for your help.
– I will need two differents EIS since I have to do the same assigments twices. That is why the number of pages is 12 (6 for one and 6 for the other). Same for the references. The first has an expiration date of July 16, and the second is for July 21.
If you have any questions please contact me.
