You first develop your project schedule.

Overview
In this assessment, you use Microsoft Project to create a project budget and a project schedule. You first develop your project schedule. Then, you include the budget for all the project-related costs. You also include tasks for a minimum of five phases in your project schedule, with at least three levels of tasks beneath each of the phases.
Context
Executing the project is the third out of five process groups as defined in the PMBOK® Guide. The PMBOK® Guide defines executing processes as those processes performed to complete the work defined in the project management plan to satisfy project requirements. This is where the work gets done, and knowledge and skill sets are applied. As execution is occurring it is important for the project manager to manage all tasks, schedules, and resources.‹
Instructions
Complete the following steps for this assessment:
Create your project schedule in Microsoft Project. Include tasks, durations, dependencies, resources, and a Gantt chart.
Develop a budget in Microsoft Project or Excel that includes the cost for each task, as well as subtotals for each of the five phases and a total cost.
Add references to your project budget and schedule, in the Project Plan Template.
Submit your final project plan, including your budget and schedule.
Portfolio Prompt: You are required to save this learning activity to your ePortfolio.

To begin to understand what is involved in the project planning, you must be able to:

Overview
Project managers work with project management plans tailored to each specific project. We will be using a Project Plan Template (linked in the Resources) to complete project management tasks throughout this course for the project you chose in Assessment 1.
Context
In today’s fast-changing and highly competitive environment, many companies are looking to project management to provide a structured and organized approach to managing projects through a well-planned and coordinated process. To begin to understand what is involved in the project planning, you must be able to:
Identify elements to include in an executive summary of the project.
Create a communications matrix.
Identify the stakeholders of the project.
Define a risk matrix and risk management plan for the project.
Instructions
Using the Project Plan Template, add the elements you created in the first assessment for your presentation:
Project charter.
Project scope.
Work breakdown structure (WBS).
This week, create the following elements and add them to your Project Plan as well:
Communications matrix.
Risk matrix.

A smartphone app could be created to help people locate their car in parking lots. The app would allow the user to enter the location of their car into the app. Once the user is ready to leave, the app would then provide directions to the user’s car.
—Attached is reference for formatting and what to include. DO NOT COPY ANYTHING FROM ATTACHED FILE—
please do include following factors:
1: Project management framework. triple constraints, organizations and feasibility analysis with full NPV, ROI and BEP calculations.
2: Stakeholders and Scope Management including Stakeholders analysis, Scope baseline elements and WBS.
3: Human resources and Communications Management
4: Quality management
5: Risk Management
6: Time Management
7: Cost Management
8: Conclusions
I have some ideas about the project as below.. PLEASE ignore it IF it is irrelevant.
The problem that this app would solve is the problem of people not being able to find their car in parking lots. This problem is compounded in larger parking lots, such as those at shopping malls. A smartphone app could be created to help people locate their car. The app would allow the user to enter the location of their car into the app. Once the user is ready to leave, the app would then provide directions to the user’s car.
The project management techniques, strategies and calculations that would be used in this app would be similar to those used in other navigation apps. The main difference would be in the data that is used. Instead of using data on roads and landmarks, the app would use data on parking lots. This data would need to be collected and input into the app. Once the app is created, it would need to be tested to ensure that it is accurate and easy to use.
One of the key project management techniques that would be used in this app is data collection. In order for the app to be accurate, data on parking lots would need to be collected. This data could be collected in a number of ways, such as through surveys of people who use parking lots or through GPS data. Once the data is collected, it would need to be input into the app. This would be a key task in the project management of this app.
Another key project management technique that would be used in this app is testing. Once the app is created, it would need to be tested to ensure that it is accurate and easy to use. This testing would need to be done on a variety of devices to ensure that the app works well on all types of smartphones. Additionally, the app would need to be tested in a variety of parking lots to ensure that it works in different types of parking situations.
Also use Gantt chart if it is useful.

Read the case Crosby Manufacturing Corporation (Page 203-206) from Kerzner, H. (2017). Project Management Case Studies (Vol. Fifth edition). Pages attached to this request.
Examine the project management issues including concerns about the project, timeline, uncertainties about meeting timelines, and consequences.
Let’s practice Cooperative Learning. To that end, please reach out to at least one fellow classmate and discuss the project management issues of importance in this case. You are NOT producing an assignment together but rather engaging in a sharing of research and informed opinion. Include the name(s) of the other student(s) with whom you are in cooperative discussion. (Your classmate does not need to choose the same Portfolio Project option as you. The goal here is to simply enhance your learning about project management issues through sharing and debate. You may email your fellow students to ask for participation.)
Your paper must include the following:
Introduction: In no more than 1 paragraph, explain the purpose or thesis of the paper, and explain how the body of the paper is arranged to support the purpose of the paper.
Cooperative Learning: Share the name of your fellow classmate with whom you discussed the project management issues of importance in this case.
Body: In no more than 1 page, provide a brief overview of the case and the project management issues as identified in the case.
In about two pages, describe your analysis of the approach the team took, its challenges, and details about the result.
Conclusion: In no more than 1 paragraph, present a recap of key points and summary of main emphasis without repeating verbatim and exclusive of new information.
References: Include at least two current scholarly references (peer-reviewed articles published within the past five years) in addition to the course textbook and/or lecture material to support your overview and your findings.
