Assignment Description
For this assignment, review the scenario in the Case Studies: Ethics media piece in which a social worker under your supervision is using technology inappropriately in his or her work, and is violating the NASW Code of Ethics. After viewing the case study, analyze the case. Identify the unethical use of technology, diversity issues, and any other ethical issues by considering advanced generalist social work practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Be sure to consult the NASW Code of Ethics, the NASW, ASWB, CSWE, and CSWA Standards for Technology in Social Work Practice, and the NASW Standards and Indicators for Cultural Competence in Social Work Practice, and use information from those documents to support your work.
Assignment Instructions
Write a paper using current APA format:
Issue Analysis:
Identify the unethical use of technology and other ethical and diversity issues in the case.
Demonstrate your critical thinking skills through analysis of the issues (as opposed to a superficial statement of the issues).
Plan:
Develop a plan that assures your supervision addresses client, social worker, and agency safety and incorporates known best practices. Be sure your plan addresses the issues you identified in the section above.
Describe leadership behaviors and social work supervision standards used to address the issue. What leadership behaviors and social work supervision standards should be used? How would you apply advanced generalist social work best practices to address these issues?
Apply leadership skills when working with a supervisee as you develop your plan. Which transformational leadership skills would you apply when dealing with your supervisee?
Apply leadership skills and the use of technology to inform evidence-based research practice through the application of transformational leadership theory. How could you apply transformational leadership theory to advance and improve social work practices when addressing this issue? Include any use of technology and evidence-based research you would use to support your choices.
Demonstrate cultural competence through the application of leadership skills with diverse populations. Are there any cultural or diversity aspects that need to be addressed? How would you implement best practices with diverse individuals to address these issues? Demonstrate your cultural competence through use of leadership skills regarding diversity issues in your analysis and plan.
Demonstrate professional use of self in your role as supervisor. How might you discuss this issue with your supervisee and how might you work with the supervisee to design your plan of action?
Complete and submit your assignment by Sunday night of the unit.
Your instructor provides feedback on your assignments. The feedback you receive may be valuable for future assignments in this course.

Assessment brief/s:
The summative assessment for this module is a 4,000-word essay as follows:
Students will critically reflect on their professional development from first to final
placement. Students will critically analyse 1 case example from each placement
to evaluate their development of professional knowledge, skills, and values from first to final
placement.
Students will need to consider within their analysis the role of critical reflection and address the
perspectives of service users, families and carers, and different professionals.
The focus of the assessment is your professional development rather than a critical reflection on
a case. Therefore, you are asked to identify 1 case example from your 70-day placement and 1
case example from your 100-day placement that enables you to critically reflect on how you
have developed professionally.
9
For example,
– you may have developed your ability to build rapport with a person;
– you may have developed your time management skills;
– you may have developed your ability when reflecting on cases to include external factors
that may impact on a person’s situation; or
– you may have had your values challenged.
As such, you are not required to have finished a case from referral to closure in order to
complete this assessment. It is about selecting critical incidents within your chosen cases that
demonstrate your professional development.
It is suggested that you do not commence this assignment until day 25 of your 100-day
placement, to ensure you have sufficient practice experience to draw on. If you commence your
placement later than timetabled, please see the student programme handbook for details of
how to seek an extension on your summative assessment.
What you must include within your critical reflection is an analysis of how critical reflection has
supported your professional development and consider how the perspectives of service users,
families, carers and other professionals have impacted on your professional development.
Within your critical reflection you should also analyse how your professional development has
been influenced by current and emerging issues related to social work practice and explore any
ethical dilemmas or tensions that arose during your placements. You should also provide a
legislative/policy context for your two cases and how your decision-making was influenced at an
individual, team, organisational, and societal level.

I need a training package created about interpersonal violence in the LGBTTTQQIA

I need a training package created about interpersonal violence in the LGBTTTQQIAA community. Kind of like the ones you see in doctors’ offices. I have uploaded an example of how I would like it made because my prof wants it to be creative and eye-catching. The information needs to be sourced only from scholarly journals or academic texts. The information that needs to be included is:
What is interpersonal violence in the LGBT community?
Signs of interpersonal violence in LGBT
Effects, risk factors, and consequences of interpersonal violence in LGBT
How can SSWs support LGBT communities, and support violence in LGBT
How does it affect children, and what are the outcomes?
How can we prepare ourselves as SSWs and how can we help our clients who experience violence within the family setting?
What does the research say about the population chosen?
What are the relevant statistics in Canada for this population?
What are best practices for intervention to support? And preventions
How can we prepare ourselves for practice in this field with this
population?
Notes – use headings – Training Packages might include the following:
a. Relevant definitions that staff should know
b. Points of interests that will help increase staff’s understanding

My chosen corporation is Shoppers’ Drug Mart in Canada
This media journal specifically focusses on a large corporation of the student’s choosing. Students will
identify a major corporation on which they will write a three-page review. Students must provide the
name of the corporation they will analyze to the instructor prior to beginning this assignment.
Corporations can only be reviewed once (no duplications) by another student in that class. The review
will discuss the following criteria:
A description of the corporation’s identified social responsibility policies.
• A review of potential contradictions to the formal corporate policy as identified by media or other
sources of information (internet based, journal based, etc.).
• Discuss whether these contradictions are acceptable or not and determine whether, in light of these
findings, they would recommend students support this corporation through the purchasing of its
products.
As with the other media journals, students will present their findings during in-class discussions
throughout the semester
