Pretend that you are a travel consultant for The International Travel Company located in Denver, Colorado. You will be creating documents pertaining to a travel package to be presented in March or October. Decide on a travel destination. It should be city but can be anywhere in the world. The more exotic, the better! Once you have selected your destination, use the internet, electronic databases, and/or print resources, to gather the information listed below:
Average temperatures for the months of March and October.
A hotel with a short description.
Two tourist spots or points of interest for a vacationer and short descriptions of each.
A restaurant for fine dining and a short description of the menu items.
An “exciting fact” about your destination.

Once you have completed your research for the travel project, select the site that you found most informative (WWW or scholarly search) and take a screen shot of that site. Paste that screen shot into a Microsoft Word document.
Under the screen shot, explain how this will help you to complete your project.
Check spelling and grammar and save the file.
Submit your completed assignment by following the directions linked below. Please check the Course Calendar for specific due dates.
Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document. (Mac users, please remember to append the “.docx” extension to the filename.) The name of the file should be your first initial and last name, followed by an underscore and the name of the assignment, and an underscore and the date. An example is shown below:

Blackboard via the allocated folder. These files must not be in compressed format.

Advice for this exercise:
Watch all tutorials and more than once, if needed, and use any work you have completed from the previous class page…there are TWO files to upload this week.
You have worked with the FIRST file from the tutorial page (now homework!) Sections 01 – 03 of ‘Adobe Components’.
Go further with the SECOND file used for homework, ‘Practice App – Create Components’.
Use the second file to create your OWN components and instances! Suggestions:
Work with padding to control how much space a group of objects might have around then, like buttons
Work with main components and instances
Note the indicators – diamonds in the upper left corner: filled-in is a main component, an instance has is hollow, and hollow diamond with a dot shows changes to the instance
Create your own components and instances from the exercise file for buttons or other elements: use Active, Hover, Inactive, etc.
Organize Main Components and Instances on artboards. Example, buttons on one artboard and navigational menus on another.
Continue to experiment with the Fonts/Colors/Gradients/Borders as needed!
