Survey

With your dissertation topic in mind, design a survey that could be used to gather data to answer a possible research question. The survey should include at least 2 subscales. Consider the length of the survey, the number of questions, and the scale that could be used.
For the research question, please come up with a research question about the shortage of semiconductor chips due to raw materials and if a failure in the USA leadership contributed to it.
Note: I prefer an online survey.

Review and summarize the key terms of statistics; descriiptive and inferential statistics, scales of measurement, types of variable, population and sample, population parameters and sample statistics.
Define descriiptive and inferential statistics. Focus on the difference between the two types of approach.
Define population and sample. List typical parameters from population and sample statistics.
Refer to Table 1.6 (textbook) and indicate the types of variable and the scale of measurement for each variable.
Refer to Table 1.6 (textbook) and Indicate how you can summarize the information in each variable.

Dear Writer,
I attend Southern New Hampshire University. The class that you will be accessing is Applied Statistics. Below is my student login information. You will be accessing module 6 6-1 Discussion: Confidence Intervals. You will also write up 2 responses to two of my classmates. Unfortunately the rubric is not downlaodable but you can see the blue hyperlink in the assignment. You will also be able to access my e-library at SNHU. Research a news article or website that provides data sets and statistical report information such as the United States Census Bureau (Links to an external site.), the U.S. Energy Information Administration (Links to an external site.), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics (Links to an external site.), or the National Center for Education Statistics (Links to an external site.). Your selected news article or website should provide enough information to allow you to fully answer each of the questions below.
Write: For your post, identify your selected news article or website using correct APA formatting followed by your fully developed answers to each of the following:
Describe the role of statistics in the news article or report.
What was the population of the study?
What was the sample?
Do you believe the statistical results are believable and meaningful?
Use the Eight Guidelines for Evaluating a Statistical Study mentioned in Chapter 5B to explain why the results are believable and meaningful (or why not).
What sorts of statistics (e.g., graphical, non-graphical, hypotheses, correlation, averages, etc.) were used in the report?
How was the data distributed?
How are distribution and variation important in any statistical study?
Was any margin of error mentioned in the report?
If no margin of error was mentioned, then assume that it is 2%. Interpret the margin of error in terms of 95% confidence interval.
Showcase your critical thinking skills and include supporting detail to back up your conclusions.
Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. It should show all the required math work and explain all the steps. Also include a simple reference for any used resource. For example: Washington Post dated August 13, 2018 or retrieved from .
