I have attached my resume down below. I am a Mexican American, daughter of an immergrant fauther and a mother from a border town (Laredo). We were the first Mexicans in a White neighborhood filled with racism. My parents came from nothing but it’s their dedication that allowed them to build an empire. I became the first and only one in my family to attent college and recieve a Bachlors degree. I grew up in the city, but spent a good amount of time in the country on the family farm. I have been around horses all my life. I’ve witnessed the care of severe injuries on the farm and when working with other equine veterinarians. I’ve also experienced painful loss and happiness along the way. It is my passion to specilaize in Equine embryo transfers. Within my journey attending this school my interest in animal medicine will allow for an open mind and eagerness to learn other aspects of vetinary medicine.

Social Psychology deals with the context of the environment, including others, as it relates to behavior, emotion, and choice. This field of study also overlaps with evolutionary psychology and the fears and emotions associated with social exclusion, which is considered to be a main factor underlying fears of public speaking.
the following questions:
How does your understanding of social psychology influence your ability to create a video or presentation that you know others will watch?
How will this influence your public speaking in the future?
How will it influence how you see others publicly speak or perform?

Overview
In this role, you’ll need to understand how to conduct literature research, and to apply the information obtained to solve a medical problem presented. However, even when applying your technical skills in a private veterinary practice, you’ll be presented with many challenging cases that will require you to know how to use basic research and analysis skill. This project is intended for you to learn and/or strengthen this skill set, demonstrate your command of the course material you have just completed, and to expand your knowledge base.
Instructions
This research project contains four parts. You’ll research and write about each of the following topics:
Fluid Administration
Emergency Care
Wound Management
Veterinary Periodontics
Although there’s no required minimum or maximum page length, the recommended length is two to three pages per topic. The questions should be thoroughly researched and answered, making sure to avoid straying too far from the stated focus. Use publication search engines such as PubMed to obtain original research papers if you plan to use these to address any of the questions. Consult reliable, and up-to-date reference materials as needed, and appropriate.
Part 1. Fluid Administration
For Part 1, discuss intravenous fluid administration in a feline patient. Your research will include
What physical exam parameters you use to assess the hydration status in your patient. You’ll detail the different percentages of dehydration, and the signs you see on examination with each one.
The purpose of each phase of fluid therapy for a female feline patient assumes the following:
The patient isn’t showing any signs of shock.
The cat weighs 8 lbs, is 10% dehydrated, and doesn’t have any vomiting or diarrhea.
Use this information to calculate the fluid rates for each needed phase of fluid therapy for this patient. Be sure to include the formula you’re using, and show each step in the calculation of the fluid rates.
How should you monitor the IV fluid therapy in this patient?
Why is it important to monitor patients receiving IV fluid therapy?
Part 2. Emergency Care
For Part 2, explain how to perform CPR on a Labrador retriever in the veterinary clinic. Your research will include the following
An explanation of what CPR is, and its goal
The steps of veterinary CPR, and how it’s performed in the veterinary clinic
A discussion of the emergency crash cart, and the items that you would use from it during CPR
Part 3. Wound Management
For Part 3, discuss the factors associated with delayed wound healing.
Investigate the primary patient factors and environmental factors that can lead to delayed healing of traumatic wounds in animals.
Choose one patient factor and one environmental factor that contribute to delayed wound healing. Then, discuss the biological basis by which these delay wound healing.
For the factors chosen in #2 above, explain what measures may be taken to limit their impact on wound healing.
Part 4. Veterinary Periodontics
For Part 4, explain why periodontal disease is common in dogs and cats, the main causes, and how some forms of the disease are treated.
What are the steps involved in an extraoral, and intraoral dental examination, and what’s the rationale behind doing an extraoral examination to assess dental disease?
Describe the early stages of periodontal disease, and its pathogenesis.
What are the materials commonly used for surgical intervention in cases of Grade IV periodontal disease, and how these materials help restore health to the periodontal tissue.
Determine the preventive measures that can be used by clients, and how you would educate them in this regard.
Project Specifications
The research paper must be typewritten using a word processing program such as MS Word or equivalent. Use 12-point Times New Roman font, and double spacing.
The title page should contain the following information:
The Title: VET110: Medical Nursing for Veterinary Technician Research Project

It’s highly recommended that you look through each section of this course outlin

It’s highly recommended that you look through each section of this course outline and understand the instructions before starting to write your paper, as well as completing all assigned readings. Having an overall understanding of the factors and steps involved in formulating a good research question and writing a research paper that supports your thesis statement will make this project much easier, and you’ll get more out of it once you’re finished.
Once you have a clear understanding of the material presented in this course, you’re ready to start writing your research paper.
The first step will be to pick a topic, as previously discussed. Choose a topic that you find interesting, one that’s current enough to have relevant research resources, and one that’s broad enough to provide opportunity for research but not so broad that you can’t formulate a specific research question.
Once you have chosen your topic, start researching and become familiar with basic terms, ideas, questions, and issues related to that topic. From that topic, form a more focused area to research, and a question that will guide your research. Once you’re satisfied with the quality of that research question, form a hypothesis, or answer to your research question, and begin the process of writing your paper to answer your research question and support your hypothesis.
Instructions:
Your research project must include:
An abstract that summarizes the major aspects of the research paper.
An introduction that summarize important findings and provides background for the topic. The research question should be described clearly, and the significance of the question explained.
A thesis that is clearly stated and focused.
A body that addresses the research question and provides organized information supporting the hypothesis.
A discussion section that critically examines research to give deeper understanding to topic question.
A conclusion section that presents logical explanations for your findings and presents clear recommendations or implications for future exploration of your research topic.
The research paper must be focused and have enough substantial content to adequately support your hypothesis statement. Ideas presented should be complex and well-developed.
The paper should be organized, and topic sentences should be well stated. There should be clear and smooth transitions when going from one idea to another.
The research paper should be free of grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors. Sentence structure and word choices should be precise and intentional.
Information sources need to be properly documented in APA format. Both in-text and Works Cited pages should follow APA format as well. (Note: The majority of the research paper should be in your own words, with brief and accurate quotations used to express thoughts that aren’t original.)
Project Specifications:
Students must turn in a single word-processing document that is 4-6 pages in length, using Times New Roman font, double spaced with normal 1″ margins.
The title page should contain the following information:
The Title: Vet 307 Introduction to Research in Veterinary Technology
