You will investigate aspects of school provision for an inclusive need by conducting one of the
following: a lesson observation, document analysis or interview. You will compare the data you collect
through one of these methods with the implications for appropriate practice for an inclusive need
raised by a relevant journal paper. You will write a short report (750-1000) words that (1) summarises
the journal article with reference to implications for inclusive practice (2) summarises your in-school
findings through data collection and (3) outlines your reflections about the relationship between your
desktop research (reading of journal article) and school practice (through your data collection).
