Mini Assignment (20% of your course grade)
Submission requirements in two parts:
Part 1: Do a bit of research into Covid impacts on tourism currently, building on what you learned in the lesson last week – provide a written submission (you must include the headings as noted below) directly in the text box (do not attach or email);
Part 2: Create a simple one-page fact sheet about Covid impacts on tourism attached to the assignment in (do not email) – EVERYTHING must fit on one page, including your references.

This week you will do another shorter mini-assignment to get you thinking about the impacts of Covid on Tourism, currently (so far in 2022).
Last week you did a self guided review of the projected and real impacts of Covid on Tourism.
For this mini-assignment I want you to do a bit of research as to where we are now, and where we are going.

Covid and tourism article: Find a current (2022) article online (this may be any form of article – academic, popular, news) that discusses Covid impacts on tourism in 2022. This article can speculate about what is coming, or report on what has happened. It can be a broad article on global effects, or a more specific one relating to a place on earth. Write a 4-8 sentence summary of what the article above is about and at the end of your summary include an APA format reference to the article.
Covid and tourism video: Find a current (2022) video online (this may be any form of video – popular, news, vlog) that discusses Covid impacts on tourism in 2022. Again, this video can speculate about what is coming, or report on what has happened. It can be a broad report on global effects, or a more specific one relating to a place on earth. Write a 4-8 sentence summary of what the video above is about and at the end of your summary include a link to the video – you do not need to reference it beyond this link.

One paragraph of 3-5 sentences introducing where you see the impacts of Covid on Tourism heading in 2022 based on all of your research for Parts 1 and 2 of this assignment;
3 graphics, similar to any you see in the UNWTO article, but using current information for 2022 so far with labels and citations – these do not have to be the same kind of information presented in that review – anything you find that relates Covid to Tourism in 2022 is acceptable here;
2-4 sentences beneath each graphic indicating what is shown;
Be creative and have fun but make this one a bit more professional than your first fact sheet – again model it on the UNWTO report style;
