Develop a Powerpoint that highlights a prevalent environmental issue in our nation. In your slides, make sure to provide a definition of the issue, description of the area of the United States it affects, description of the population impacted in that area, and description of efforts taken to address the issue in that area. An example outline of your presentation is as follows:
Slides 1-2: Description of the environmental health issue – This issue could be anything you wish! Examples of options include: air pollution, water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste, pesticides, food safety, and others.
Slides 4-6: Identification and description of selected geographical area- You can look at the US Census reports to provide demographics of the affected population. Make sure to describe geographical characteristics as well.
Slides 6-8: Description of environmental health issue in chosen geographical area- Make sure to describe data on prevalence and trends. What are the primary contributing factors for the health issue?
Slides 9-10: Brief description of policies and/or programs in place to prevent, reduce, or mitigate the environmental-related issue within the geographical area
Note: In an effort to keep your slides clean, professional and not too crowded, please make sure to include slide notes to provide additional information needed for grading purposes. Please make sure to submit or export a version of your presentation that includes slide notes if using a software other than PowerPoint.

You will only be submitting your completed slide deck for this assignment. You do not need to do a voice over for your slides. Utilize the notes section of your presentation to serve as your “script” as if you were to be presenting this assignment during a live class.
