Assume that the Scottsboro defendants are still alive and incarcerated.
Write a 1-to 2-page essay analyzing at least two ways that the Scottsboro boys could potentially use contemporary DNA testing laws and/or newly discovered evidence rules to challenge their conviction. If you choose to use a DNA testing statute, I recommend either the AZ law we studied or the Alabama DNA testing statute. Please utilize the IRAC methodology to aid your analysis, and make sure to address each component of the statute or rule you select.
