1. Compare and contrast how Westercamp describes soundwalking (as a practice and way to understand the world) with how Messina or Martin discuss soundwalking. (A friendly reminder that, according to current best practices, we won’t spell out the n-word, even when quoting directly from a source.) It may be helpful to refer to the Akiyama article when thinking about Westercamp’s piece.
2. After doing the readings, try doing a soundwalk of your own. What did you observe? What concepts from this readings helped you interpret what you heard–and your own experiences as you did the walk?
