analyze the art

Using descriiptive visual analysis, explain what makes the photographs striking (consider composition, color, cropping, interaction among figures, or telling details). The principal questions to address: By what visual means does the photograph persuasively capture the particular character of the subject? What brings the photograph a sense of immediacy? Are there features which suggest that the scene is historically and/or politically significant? Does the photograph convey a particular mood?

Writer’s Choice

See attached Agad 100 research plan for instructions.
And Remember to include a Works Cited with both papers – many learners forgot to include this element in the Analysis Assignment. Without a Worked Cited proper credit is not afforded to the original authors/content creators, and reference to another person’s work or ideas without citation is plagiarism.
Avoid “I” statements – this was a recommendation for the Analysis Assignment and a requirement for both research papers moving forward.
Review the evaluation rubric for each assignment and structure/write your papers in line with how the rubric indicates points/marks will be assigned. Don’t spend a lot of time/word count on content not outlined in the assignment or the rubric.
Make sure you touch on all questions/required elements in the paper. Many learners missed marks in the Analysis Assignment because they did not address all elements required in the assignment descriiption.
And follow the rubric

urban design pedagogy

Dear writer,
My name is Melanie, I am an architect and urban designer. I am preparing this research essay for a peer-reviewed publication, Sustainable Development Goals.
Please review the parts highlighted in red.
It is the introduction: I need a strong opener and would like to include the numbers 2, 50, 70, and 80, but I am not sure about the wording.
Secondly: It’s the last part of my paper where I would like to give an outlook of what Method Design is: please review the eight points I have made at the end of the paper. I need help with structure/outline and order of points, clarity, wording, sentence structure, etc.
Please let me know if you have any questions. All the best, Melanie

Four of the Six Wonders of the Ancient World

Choose four (4) of the six (6) Wonders of the Ancient
World (excluding the Great Pyramid of Egypt which we covered in class) and report on them in a formal research paper. Be as thorough as possible.
When conducting your research and writing your paper, you should answer the following questions in as much detail as possible:
What is it?
Who commissioned/created it?
How was it built?
Where was it located?
When was it constructed?
Why was it considered one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World?
What happened to it?
Important Guidelines
Format
Organize this material into a 4 page formal research paper.
It should be double-spaced with a 1” margin and type size should not exceed 12 pts.
Art History, as a discipline, utilizes the MLA style.
Sources
Please use at least two book and unlimited internet resources. Make sure to gather your resources early as we don’t have a lot of information on the Wonders since only one remains – you may have to use an interlibrary loan at your local library. Don’t forget about unconventional sources like children’s books for great illustrations of what these wonders may have looked like, journals, magazines, periodicals, websites, and even videos.
Always cite your sources!
Please remember it’s “Important to Avoid Plagiarism!
Please note: Wikipedia and other “Wiki-” websites are not acceptable sources of information for any assignment in this class.
Need to have a resource section at end of paper! Please use citations if needed!
