PROJECT 4: ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIO Assignment
An electronic writing portfolio, or e-Portfolio, is typically a collection of writing samples that showcases your best work. A writing portfolio is created by collecting, selecting, and reflecting on writing that is completed at the end of a given period of time—a unit, a course, a program, even a career. In this class, you will create an e-Portfolio that includes a globally revised version of one of the major writing projects, supporting documents reflecting your particular composing practices and writing skills, and a reflective statement that articulates what you have learned about writing by completing the major projects in the course.
It is important to note that “global revision” of a composition entails the “review of the entire composition, adding, deleting, and moving text as necessary” (AWR p. 65). In contrast, “local revision” refers to minor editing changes, usually at the level of the sentence.
The following items need to be included in your portfolio:
● A revised, edited, and polished version of either Project 1 or Project 2; (My project to help you will be linked below)
● At least 2 artifacts of your own design (in-class activity, homework assignment, or even notes explaining a concept) that reflect your composing practices or the development of a particular writing or communicative skill that was focused on in this class; (I selected: Ethos, Pathos, Logos, AND rhetorical strategies)
First Draft includes Set up Wix account, create a Homepage and About Me page. The following items need to be included in your portfolio:
• Welcome page with photo of your choice (all provided in links below, the picture of football team)
• About Me photo and page (photo of me will be provided)
• Tabs of A revised, edited, and polished version of either Project 1 or Project 2;
• At least 2 artifacts of your own design (in-class activity, homework assignment, or even notes explaining a concept) that reflect your composing practices or the development of a particular writing or communicative skill that was focused on in this class; (already provided up there)
• A reflective statement (min. 500 words) of what was learned about genres (persuasive article, meme, etc…) composing, and rhetorical strategies in the process of completing the course’s three major projects.

Please answer each of questions below and each question should be at least 250 words.
Question1:
Personality changes vary from individual to individual, but some general trends are also observed. For instance, while openness and extraversion decline, conscientiousness increases across early adulthood. Agreeableness is generally flat until mid-adulthood, where it then increases. What factors do you think account for these changes, and how would they account for the “individual differences” we observe over the course of adulthood?
Question2:
Many studies have shown a U-shaped curve of marital happiness, with declines in satisfaction over the course of one’s marital life and then, about 20-25 years later, an increase back to pre/early-marriage levels. Of course, not all individual will show this trend. What factors do you think help to offset, or attenuate, this decline in marital satisfaction over time?
Question 3:
Divorce is a common outcome of unhappy marriages, with the divorce rate hovering around 50% in Canada. The implications of divorce for parents and children are highly consequential. Based on your reading and other literature, under what conditions do you think divorce is a more desirable outcome than staying together in an unhappy marriage? Are there such circumstances? What are the ramifications of divorce on children and parents should parents opt to separate?
