Plans for the Team Projects

G. Individual Project Management Subsidiary Plans
Due on Session 10: Each Team Member submits the Subsidiary Plans assigned to them as individual contributors. All 10 Subsidiary Plans need to be covered/submitted in order for this step to be complete. The individual plans should be consistent in their use of the of WBS tasks and their dependencies and scheduling, the project Stakeholders and Communication methods.
These individual efforts, although mostly done and graded separately, do require careful coordination. The extent to which the 10 Plans are integrated and kept in synch will show the extent to which “team work” and integrated project management has been achieved. Changes in requirements or implementation have a ‘domino effect’ you need to monitor, control, and show evidence of having tracked throughout the project.
My part is Cost Management Plan and Quality Management Plan. The total is 2 parts. Please follow all the rules and lectures. Thank you so much!

Book ( ch.4)

Two types of diversification are:
concentric diversification, where the corporate parent launches a new, separate business by leveraging strengths of an existing business, such as the parent of a snowmobile maker starting a separate, independent personal-watercraft business to compete against Jet Ski and Sea-Doo; the two businesses have some identical manufacturing processes, parts and dealers
conglomerate diversification, where the corporate parent gets into a totally unrelated business, such as Berkshire Hathaway owning GEICO, Jordan’s Furniture and NetJets, among others
What are the advantages and disadvantages of concentric diversification?

Special Olympics Wheelchair Basketball Game

-What were the high-level tasks or scope of the project?
-How was the need for the project identified?
-What was the cost, and how was it funded?
-What was the timeline?
-Who were the parties involved in the project, and what were the roles of each party (team) member?
-What steps did you establish to ensure the project was a success?
-How did you measure the success of your project?
-Overall, how did project management help to make this project a success?

Survey

Design a survey. For the purposes of this survey, you have already chosen Yosemite National Park to evaluate and review the content that contains an example of the visitor survey the national parks actually use. The sample used that as the model for the examples but you do not need to ask those same questions. Design your survey to measure what you want to measure about the park. If it is visitor count, that would be fine, if it is something else like the use of maintenance vehicles per park employee, the appropriate number of campsites per acre, etc., please feel free to do so.
While it is acceptable to use the surveys of others for ideas, you are not to copy and paste questions. Use your own words.
Remember also not to just copy and paste descriiptions from the park website into any of your work.
If the results are not available, you are welcome to make up hypothetical results for the purpose of this class. For this assignment, you are to create a word document survey using the knowledge gained from the readings and content so far. You may find more help at the Survey Monkey Website. In reality, you would use a site like Survey Monkey to create and disseminate the survey but for our purposes, you will do it in Microsoft Word. It should contain the basic format and questions. But you should also consider the overall look and appeal of the format. It should be easy to follow and not crowded. Try using a park picture to make it attractive.

Data Sources and Analysis

Review the information on government evaluation policy at USAID. Then review the USAID report. https://pdf.usaid.gov/pdf_docs/PDACS547.pdf
Notice that it is a mid-term report. Also notice that there are several evaluation methods employed, such as focus group and key informant interviews. IReview any of the reports on the USAID site.
Give the link and explain what it evaluated. Did it accomplish its objective? Is it appropriately tailored to the audience? Did you find anything exceptionally good or bad about it? Would you offer any advice? Finally, if you were doing a survey or observation to collect data on Yosemite National Park, are there things that you learned from these examples that would be helpful? If so, what would they be?
