Explain strategies for maintaining the therapeutic relationship with a patient that may present with this disorder.
Finally, explain ethical and legal considerations related to this disorder that you need to bring to your practice and why they are important.
In these role plays you will be asked to focus particularly on the counseling skills that have been introduced up to that point in the semester. This first role play (10 minutes in length) should be recorded and accompanied by a reflective paper in which you consider your comfort with the skills you employed, what you did that you believe was particularly beneficial for the “client,” what you may have done differently, and your feelings about the overall experience.
