What influence did judaism and christianity have on the development of this kingdom?

Question:

How did Aksum differ from the kingdoms along the Trans-Saharan trade routes? What influence did Judaism and Christianity have on the development of this kingdom? Why do you think Islam never took root here when it became so popular in other parts of Africa?
Answer:
Hello Class,
What made Aksum stand out from the rest of the Kingdoms was their own coinage and language. They also had rich soil which helped their agriculture. This enabled the kingdom to succesfully harvest a vareity of cultivation and trade it through their trading empire.
Queen Mekeda converted to Judaism after being mentored by King Solomon who was the Jerusalems King. Though it is said that King Solomon tricked Queen Mekeda to sleep with him which resulted in pregnancy and the birth of Menilek I. King Solomon wanted him to follow him and take over as King but Menilek refused and returned to Ethiopia. On his way back he stole the Arc of the Covenant and ended up starting the Ethopian Orthodox Church after defeating King Solomons attempt in getting it back.
I dont think Islam had many roots here due to the constant influence of Christianity from the merchants, monks, missionaries, etc. that flowed in and out of the Kingdom because of the trading routes. This was happening for centuries before the official declaration of Christianity being the state of religion in the 4th Century.

Islamic religion relates to judaism and christianity in several ways.

 Question:
How is Islam related to the other Abrahamic faiths such as Judaism and Christianity? How were Christianity and Judaism treated by Muslims in early Islamic society? Why do you think they fostered toleration while giving Muslims a greater sense of community?
Answer:
Hey everyone,
The Islamic religion was unearthed with the struggles from the Prophet Muhammed believing the tribes and its noblemen were not upholding their positions in society. Muhammed set forth with his wife, Khadija, who became the first to convert to Islam, and established the Islamic religion. Islamic religion relates to Judaism and Christianity in several ways. They believed the morals and responsibilities of the communities and individuals should be to worship God. As discussed in Britannica.com, Islam, major world religion promulgated by the Prophet Muhammad in Arabia in the 7th century CE. The Arabic term islām, literally “surrender,” illuminates the fundamental religious idea of Islam—that the believer (called a Muslim, from the active particle of islām) accepts surrender to the will of Allah (in Arabic, Allāh: God). With the Islamic religion, Muslims believed in God, also known as Allah, in Arabic, just as Jewish and Christians faiths believed in God. Christians and Jews were accepted by the early Islamic society as their beliefs somewhat aligned with Muslims. Unlike the pagans, who were forced to choose between the Islamic faith or death, the Christians and Jewish communities were allowed to withhold their beliefs and labeled as the “People of the Book”.

However, the spoils of his kingdom, high taxes among the people, and his selfish ways slowly led his own people to revolt against him.

 Good day everyone,
With the new discovery of Quantum technology, I have recently traveled back in time into the beginning of the Zhou Dynasty and watched as the Battle of Muye took place.
The Battle of Muye brought an end to the Shang Dynasty and its ruler, Di Xin but the start of the Zhou Dynasty. Di Xin was once a loyal and honorable ruler, respected by his people. However, the spoils of his kingdom, high taxes among the people, and his selfish ways slowly led his own people to revolt against him. During the reign of King Wen Ji Chang, the state became stronger and “the world was divided into three parts, two of which belonged to Zhou”, laying the foundation for the destruction of the Shang Dynasty. After Ji Chang’s death, his son Ji Fa succeeded to the throne and was called King Wu of Zhou.(HistoryTopic, 2022).
On the day of the Battle of Muye, as I watched from the nearby hillside, the sun slowly peeked over the hillside and the dense fog fading from the hills. The air felt thick and heavy as the soldier’s armor. To the west, stood an army of approximately 50,000 Zhou rebel soldiers led by the son of the late Chief Wen, Wu of Zhou. You can hear the clanking of armor and horses neighing in preparation of the time ahead. To the east, an army stretched beyond the eyes can see was Di Xin’s Imperial army of 700,000. A force that felt would be swift and dominant. Di Xin’s arrogance wanted to swiftly end the rebellion and armed 170,000 slaves to further his rule however, it had the opposite effect and fueled the rebel forces with additional troops. Although tremendously outnumbered, the Zhou rebel army appeared energized and anxious to right the wrongs of their once ruler.
As the battle took place, some of the Imperial army forces laid down their arms and some even joined the opposing rebel forces to uproot the destructive Di Xin. The battle was intense as the 300 rebel war chariots raced across the battle field mowing down Imperial soldiers. Rebel soldiers holding their lines and pushing forward as Imperial troops retreated back to the east. The battle raged on and the rebel troops were inspired, highly trained, and were able to eliminate the Imperial forces driving Di Xin back to his stronghold. He would collect his prize possessions and set himself ablaze in defeat.
The Zhou dynasty, ruled ancient China for some eight centuries, establishing the distinctive political and cultural characteristics that were to be identified with China for the next two millennia (Britannica, 2002).

Which of these two characterizations seems to be more accurate?

Some critics argue that De Soto should be remembered historically as a cruel Spanish conqueror, who plundered and killed wherever he went.
Some other critics, however, say that De Soto was a tragic figure. That that he started out as a sailor and adventurer who was then tutored by previous captains, and even by the King of Spain, that the use of devious and brutal methods was normal for Spanish conquistadors going to the Americas. Furthermore, in many instances, De Soto’s men applied pressure on their captain to be brutal just when he was trying to get along better with particular native kings.
