This is a website case study on the website:
https://www.myflorida.com/
Analyzing the content needs of the website. My topic is about how this website lacks content and I will provide instructions and other links for research purposes. I have started the paper with a summary of 200 words and you can continue from that file.
This is the website of the Florida Government, the market research needs to include comparisons of other government website’s (different states). I want to talk about how the lack of the content affects the website traffic, and how other websites are made and how they are better. How this website can be made better with better content. I will also provide what type of content I will be adding and open to any more suggestions that you may have. I will also provide my content analysis.
For the backstory, you may include that as a web designer, I have content management skills, keyword/SEO optimization, etc
Follow this format for your case study:
Summary: This is a brief introduction of the engagement, with an emphasis on problem and outcome. It should sell the reader on the value of digging further into the details of your solution. Think of it as an elevator pitch. If a person only read your summary, would they at least understand what you propose and the value you believe it offers?
Backstory: Think of this as the beginning, the narrative part. You set up the case study with an introduction to its key players — you and your client — and your respective points of view. Describe this relationship will make it easier or harder for a person to imagine themselves in a similar relationship with you.
Problem: This is the simple part. What, exactly, are you going to do? This hits on your expertise, your diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
Proposed Solution: What do you want to do? This covers your process, your strategic prowess, your technical capabilities, your team dynamic, your style.
Expected Outcomes: What are the expected results? Did you build a new audience? Strengthen and grow an existing one? Increase sales? Data, please.
Delivery:
Must be double-spaced and use page numbers. Assignments must have your name, course number, and assignment name in the upper left corner of page 1. Page estimates are specified, they are based on a font size of 12 points. I will quit reading at the end of the page restriction. Hence, if your main point occurs after the maximum number of pages for the assignment, it will be lost.
Not only will I grade on the basis of the content of the material, but also the presentation of the material. I expect the writing to be college caliber; I expect good grammar and accurate spelling.
Length:
1,500 – 3,000 words
Rubric:
The assignment will be assessed by the following criteria:
Was the case study as specified?
Did you offer a clear summary?
Did you offer a comprehensive backstory?
