I need a training package created about interpersonal violence in the LGBTTTQQIAA community. Kind of like the ones you see in doctors’ offices. I have uploaded an example of how I would like it made because my prof wants it to be creative and eye-catching. The information needs to be sourced only from scholarly journals or academic texts. The information that needs to be included is:

How can SSWs support LGBT communities, and support violence in LGBT
How does it affect children, and what are the outcomes?
How can we prepare ourselves as SSWs and how can we help our clients who experience violence within the family setting?
What does the research say about the population chosen?
What are the relevant statistics in Canada for this population?
What are best practices for intervention to support? And preventions
How can we prepare ourselves for practice in this field with this
population?
Notes – use headings – Training Packages might include the following:
a. Relevant definitions that staff should know
b. Points of interests that will help increase staff’s understanding
c. Statistics – Canadian please (you may use Stats Canada if needed for this area ONLY)
d. keep within the SSW Scope of Practice when considering interventions. Main interventions should not require a referral to another professional eg. CBT.
