For this ethnographic project, you may choose one of the three prompts below to write a 3-page essay response to OR create a 4-5 minute video, narrated illustration (example: a comic strip that you explain by recording your voice), or other media approved by me.
For the essay, please make sure that your paper is double spaced, using 1″ margins with Times New Roman 12pt font. Make sure to include your name, date, and class/section in the upper left-hand corner. Please also state which prompt you are answering as your title. For information gathered outside of the textbook, please make sure to CITE it in a bibliography page at the end of your essay. Do not use any verbatim (word-for-word) quotes.
This essay must be turned in here by the due date and must have a turnitin score of less than 24%. If your paper has a score of 24% or higher and/or if it is late, it will receive an automatic zero. NO EXCEPTIONS!
For the media presentation (video, narrated illustration, other approved media), please make sure to state which prompt you are answering at the beginning of the presentation. The presentation must be between 4-5 minutes and demonstrate your understanding of the topic. For information gathered outside of the textbook, please make sure to CITE it by mentioning the source in your presentation. Do not use any verbatim (word-for-word) quotes. The most preferable way to turn in a video is by uploading it to YouTube and submitting the link. You can also do this with a GoogleSlides presentation (make sure all settings are set to public). You will also need to turn in a short synopsis with a brief overview of your presentation as well as your
sources.
