Run
wireshark on the winpractice.txt file and filter on tcp traffic with
both the S and F flags set (as well as any others). Take a screen shot
and submit.
Run Snort on the winpractice.txt file
and alert on any tcp traffic with both the S and F flags set (as well as
any others). Include the message “SF scan” if the alert is triggered.
Submit the output file and show me the rule you created. Let me know
if you have any questions. Be sure and add a txt extension to the
output file or Canvas will not allow me to read it.
