Art Project with Written explanation
Choose one piece of artwork we have studied from the book. This must be from our text and art we have studied together in this class.
1) Write at least 20 thoughtful sentences about why you chose it. How it makes you feel, why you like it and what about the use of materials you find interesting. Tell me about your process of recreating it.
2) Recreate it, using either materials we studied in class (pencil, charcoal, water color, acrylic, ink, clay or collage etc.) or other materials (fabrics, wood, rocks, flowers etc.) to recreate it. You can use whatever you have available to you.
This project should take a minimum of three hours.
You may submit the written portion and upload photographs of your work through Canvas, please do not email it me. Submit in in the correct Canvas tab. You may do multiple submissions.
I would like to see photos (two would be great) of your progress and the final piece.
