During the writing of our assignment from week 2 “Evaluating Corporate Entrepreneurship” I learned a lot about the different types of cultures within an organization, their structure and how they can affect an organization. More importantly, about the other components of an entrepreneurial culture and how it can support and embrace employees to share innovative ideas thus potentially helping the organization as a whole. Being that entrepreneurial cultures tend to maintain a certain level of “openness” to new ideas and changes, this can make for easier policy changes and adaptation with less resistance from employees that would typically defer changes to what they have grown accustomed to.
