OUTLINE IS ATTACHED
Rough draft of research paper. This should be full draft with pointed research. Include introduction (with thesis), content analysis (subject matter, iconography, symbolism), historical context (social and political conditions, historical events, economic trends, cultural and religious attitudes, geography, other works of art), biographical analysis (of artist’s), and writings about art (ideological, psychoanalytic, structuralism, post-structuralism, deconstruction, feminist, relational aesthetics). Include images. See sample research papers for examples.
This paper should be a minimum of 5-7 pages in length, typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. font, free of all spelling and grammatical errors, no plagiarism, with a clear, well-supported thesis. The bibliography of sources should follow Chicago Style formatting with footnotes and bibliography, at least three peer reviewed and/or scholarly books or articles, with a well supported thesis. The text does NOT count as one of these sources. Submit in DOCX format.
